OUR COMMITMENTS
MADE IN CANADA
All our products are made in Canada, primarily in Quebec. All our linen caps are assembled in our small workshop in Montreal's Rosemont neighborhood. No production is shipped abroad. This minimizes the transportation footprint of our products, supports the local economy, creates local jobs, and prevents any support for sweatshops.
OUR LINEN CAPS
Our caps are made from linen, a natural fiber that is much more durable than most other natural fibers. In addition to being sustainable, linen also has a low environmental footprint.
Like all our products, our caps are made locally. Our small sewing team assembles all our caps in our small workshop in Montreal.

OUR WOOL
Our wool comes from one of the oldest and most renowned spinning mills in Italy and is certified Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex . This label means that the product does not contain any chemical or harmful agents for the health of its user.
Our merino wool blend (50% merino / 50% acrylic) strikes the perfect balance between the durability of a synthetic material and the natural properties of merino. This blend is designed to last and withstand use and washing without losing the properties of merino. Our wool is therefore easy to care for, but also breathable, self-cleaning, and antimicrobial.
ORGANIC COTTON
All our cotton clothing is made from 100% GOTS -certified organic cotton. Certified organic cotton means fewer pesticides and fewer environmentally harmful products.
All cotton is sourced from the United States in an effort to bring our supply chain as close as possible.
PACKAGING AND PARCELS
Our envelopes, shipping boxes, and labels are made from 100% recycled paper (90% post-consumer) and are, of course, 100% recyclable after use. Help us minimize our footprint and place them in your recycling bin.
With a view to reducing the material used, we also pragmatically reuse boxes and cardboard for our shipments.
Our greatest commitment is to design quality products that will last over time. By increasing the lifespan of our products, we reduce their long-term footprint.
Caribou also focuses on a limited range of products. Quality products that are durable, practical, and timeless. We don't believe in trends and we don't want to encourage unnecessary or impulse purchases.
